Welcome to an evening of celebration for a special issue of a tiny literary magazine.
It all started with Nim – the chimp who, in the 1970s, supposedly signed the longest sentence in the history of primate linguistics. We got obsessed. And in no time at all, we had rallied 20 contributors from around the world to share their thoughts on intelligence and on interspecies communication.
